【レポート】低山再発見の旅#2「日川渓谷」

大内理事がご案内する低山再発見の旅、第2回目は「甲斐武田氏のはじまりと終わりの地を訪ねる」というテーマで、甲斐大和を訪ねました。先ずは腹ごしらえに農家の縁側カフェへ。むかし養蚕農家だったというお家の庭でランチをいただきました。今はぶどうを育てながら、時間のある時に縁側カフェをやっていらっしゃるとのこと。自家栽培の野菜で作ったお料理が出てくる！出てくる！数種類のお漬物に柿のサラダ、カボチャのコロッケ、ふろふき大根、すいとんに干し柿とリンゴの入った焼き菓子....どれも本当に美味しくて、食べきれないほどでした！
その後、武田家終焉の地である景徳院へ。勝頼と息子の信勝、夫人が自刃した生害石や墓石などがあり、勝頼の最期に思いを馳せました。
家臣に裏切られ岩殿城(岩殿山)から田野に逃げのびてきた勝頼が目指していたのは天目山。われわれも勝頼が辿ったであろう日川渓谷沿いを天目山へ向けて登りました。
勝頼は行く手を阻まれ天目山へは行けませんでしたが、我々は無事に天目山栖雲寺へ到着。ここは第13代当主武田信満のお墓もある禅寺で、裏庭にはたくさんの巨石からなる野趣あふれる広い石庭があり、プチトレッキングして終了。甲斐武田家の歴史を偲んだ一日でした。
